On September 16, 2026, the Annual Coordination Meeting of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health (CSEWPH) of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Representatives of International Organizations was held at the Panarams Tashkent Hotel. The meeting consisted of two sessions: Part I: Annual Coordination Meeting of CSEWPH with International Organizations and Part II: Roundtable on the Results of the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) Public Health System Assessment. During Part I, Kim Hayoung, Deputy Country Representative of KOFIH Uzbekistan Office, delivered a presentation highlighting KOFIH’s key achievements and strategic priorities, with a particular focus on strengthening alignment and coordination with national priorities and development partners, enhancing complementarity among ongoing initiatives, and identifying opportunities for closer collaboration in Uzbekistan’s public health sector. The meeting provided an important platform for international organizations and national counterparts to share progress, strengthen coordination, and explore areas for more effective and coherent support to Uzbekistan’s public health system.
